To reduce the size of the TXLine files, no setup program is provided. However setting up the program is very simple. All the files extracted from the TXLINE.ZIP file need to be in the directory that the program will be executed from. If you want to create an icon for the program, then you need to manually add the program item through the Windows Program Manager (or through Explorer in Windows 95). Consult your Windows documentation for adding program icons to the Program Manager (or Explorer in Windows 95).

If you occasionally experience "General Protection Faults" when running TXLine at the same time as other 16 bit programs, then you need to execute TXLine in its own memory space. To run the program in its own memory space, first create an icon for the program through the "File | New... | Program Item" menu (If you have not already done so). Then select the new icon with the mouse and then go to the "File | Properties..." menu and check the "Run in seperate memory space" checkbox.

Applied Wave Research, Inc. (AWR) grants any REGISTERED user the right to use TXLine free of charge. ALL USERS OF TXLine MUST REGISTER WITH AWR TO OBTAIN THE LEGAL RIGHT TO USE THE SOFTWARE. This software may be distributed freely provided that anyone that uses the software also registers with AWR.
To register the software, the user must complete all pages of the interactive "User Registration" form including the "User Info.", "User Survey", "User Profile", and "Legal" pages. Upon completion of the form, a text file named "REGISTER.TXT" will be created in the directory shown below in the "Register Path" entry. The text file should be sent to the following e-mail address:

We will then e-mail you a user registration number that must then be entered into the
"Registration Number" entry below. THE REGISTRATION FORM MUST BE COMPLETED ON THE SAME COMPUTER THAT YOU WILL EXECUTE TXLine ON. If TXLine is moved to another computer, then it will need to be registered again.
If you are running the program from another computer on a network, then you must specify (in the "Register Path" entry below) a local directory where the "REGISTER.TXT" file will be written.
If you do not have e-mail access and your postal address is in the United States or Canada, mail a printed copy of the "REGISTER.TXT" file to the following address:
