P-CAD 2004 Service Pack 3 (SP3) is a substantial upgrade focused on strengthening the performance of the system and increasing value to customers. SP3 includes over 160 new features and enhancements that offers greater ease-of-use and flexibility in the PCB design process. Any prior version of P-CAD 2004 can be upgraded directly to P-CAD 2004 SP3. This patch includes the SP3 Hot Fix.
Prior to installing Altium Designer 2004 Service Pack 3 you will need to have the original Bonus Technologies (Build Number 8.2.11.2678) shipped with P-CAD 2004 or DXP 2004 Service Pack 2 (Build Number 8.2.12.2761) installed. To install the Service Pack 3 patch, you are not required to reactivate your license.
If you are an existing user of an Altium Designer 2004 license and you have already installed Altium Designer 2004 Service Pack 3 (Build Number 8.3.06.3413), you are not required to install this patch.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Altium Designer 2004 Service Pack 3 will use different locations to store your settings and customizations. To bring your settings and customizations from Service Pack 2, save them using the 'Save' button on the System Preferences dialog before applying the patch. Once the patch is installed, reapply your settings using the 'Load' button on the System Preferences dialog.
