The new multiple dielectric Si8000 controlled
impedance field solver will release on 1 May 2003.

The new Si8000m Multiple dielectric controlled impedance
design system is undergoing final testing in preparation
for its release in the next couple of weeks.

The NEW Si8000m supports:

Multiple dielectric builds
Single dielectric builds
Compensates for local resin rich areas
Models soldermask adjacent and between surface differential pairs

The new Quicksolver has a standard and new Extended
interface allowing goal seeking and process window
calculations.

Employing Boundary Element Method field solvers, the new
Si8000m uses a familiar user interface, but has
a completely new field solving engine behind
the scenes. This new enngine allows modelling of
resin rich areas, multiple dielectric layers, and
soldermask adjacent and between surface tracks.
