SigWave

Save Workspace

You can now save annotations made to a waveform in SigWave. Previously, any changes made to waveforms, such as markers or other annotations, could not be saved. The new workspace file preserves markers, modifications to titles, legends, colors, fonts and other aspects of the display in a binary file which you can recall at a later session.

SigXplorer

Diff Pairs

In previous releases, you could extract a diff pair topology into SigXplorer for simulation. However, you could not promote changes to the topology back to the layout. In this release, round-trip diff pair topology editing is realized. You can extract a diff pair topology, perform what-if analysis in SigXplorer, specify diff pair constraints directly in SigXplorer, then update the topology to Constraint Manager, in turn, updating the constraints applied to the layout through a referenced ECSet.

Constrained Custom Measurements

Custom Measurements now support differential pin parameters and measurements at differential die pads. User-defined constraints with associated units and targets can also be added to custom measurements and then verified at the board level in Constraint Manager.

Topology Append

The new Append command lets you append a topology to an existing, open topology. SigXplorer resolves conflicting information between the two topologies, such as the same RefDes and constraint information, while always maintaining the integrity of the original topology.

Hide Columns

In previous releases, you could hide only one column at a time in the Results tab. The new Hide Columns command lets you select and hide multiple columns, concurrently. You pick and drag across column headers and then right-click and choose Hide Columns from the pop-up menu. Right-click and choose Show All Columns from the pop-up menu to display hidden columns.
